On September 6, my sister, my best friend and I took off on our first big overseas tour with Topdeck Travel. There are several different tours offered by Topdeck, and we chose a Western Spirit of Europe tour. This tour consisted of visiting three beautiful countries and six different cities in the space of nine days. The rain pelts the slate tiles of the roof and the glass of the window. The house breathes with creaking and howling sounds. They make your heart start to thump that little harder. You pull the blankets tighter around you and squeeze your eyes tight. If you can't see it, then it's not real. Nevertheless, you swear you can hear the footsteps outside your bedroom and the sound of the door opening.
